When you use our online ticketing system to purchase match tickets, you need to log in to the system as a user, not dissimilar to staff working in the Ticket Office and the Club Shops.

To do this the system needs to be able to identify you on the ticketing database and you will need 2 pieces of information.

1. Your customer number. If you are a current season ticket holder or member this will be the customer number shown on your card. If you are a non-member but regularly purchase tickets this number will appear next to your name on the ticket. If you do not have a customer number (or do not know it) you can acquire one in two ways. Telephone the Ticket Office on 0870 1110555 and they will either identify you from your address, if you have moved you may still be registered at an old address, and let you know your customer number. If you are not on the database they will add you and let you know your customer number. Alternatively email mainticketoffice@itfc.co.uk supplying your title, first name, surname, address including postcode, telephone numbers as applicable (home, work & mobile) and your date of birth. Your customer number will be emailed back to you.

2. A password. To receive your password you will need to register. From the Ipswich Town website look for the "Buy Online now!" icon. This can be found on the Ticket News pages and any home match information. Click through and you will be taken to the Ipswich Town FC Online site. Select Register and complete the simple registration form (you need your customer number for this). We will email you your password. This can take up to 72 hours but normally will be the same day.

Once you have your password you can then login on the Ipswich Town FC Online site home page. Just enter your customer number and password and select enter.

To purchase tickets select Match Tickets from the Tickets and Membership menu on the left of the page. Once loaded you will see the home matches that are available for sale and any membership restrictions that may apply. Click on the match you wish to purchase and for that match you will see a drop down menu with the areas available to purchase. Select the area you want and then follow the instructions.

Once you have purchased your seat you will be able to see the purchase in your order history on the "Your Account" page. Until printed it will show "pending". After the ticket has been printed in the Ticket Office the "pending" flag will not show.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do some matches require membership?

We sell over the web as closely as possible to the manner we sell over the telephone or counter i.e. we use a priority system. So if tickets are being sold on the telephone or over the counter to Gold Club members, websales will be set to operate in the same way.

How do I buy tickets for my children or for family/friends over 60 years old?

There are two ways of allocating concession priced tickets. To buy for your children you can allocate tickets to them, which will then reprice correctly as the sale is verifying. To be able to allocate to them they need to be on the ticketing database. If they are already on the database we link them to your file. Just email us at mainticketoffice@itfc.co.uk giving their customer number if known, or their name and address details so we can identify them. If they are not on the database we can add them and link them to you.

Alternatively, the family's tickets can all be allocated to yourself on your customer number by changing the price bands on the relevant tickets.
The same information is applicable for over 60s.

What development is taking place with Websales?

The system we use is also used by several other football clubs as well as Rugby League and Union clubs. With the software company that supplies the system we are pursuing a number of changes. These will include the ability to be able to purchase away tickets and for season ticket holders to purchase their reserved seat for cup matches.
