A goal 10 minutes from time from Jordan Rhodes gave the Reserves a share of the spoils at Layer Road.  The teenager's strike took his tally for the season to 22 for the season at Reserve team level.  Colchester had the better of the first half and deserved to be in front but Blues played at a much higher tempo after the break and Rhodes went close on two occasions before he came up with the equaliser.

Town dominated the last 10- minutes and could have won the game but for some outstanding saves from the Colchester 'keeper.
