Picked up the Dale Roberts Award as the star performer from the Academy in 2003/04. Scored his first goal at senior level in the Carling Cup victory over Kidderminster in August 2003 and grabbed a hat-trick in the win over Watford later that season. Capped by England at U19 level. Went on a month's loan to Burnley in March 2005 and then had three months on loan at Wycombe in 2006. Signed a new deal until 2008.
