JORDAN TO SIGN NEW DEAL
Jordan Rhodes is set to sign a new contract at Portman Road that will keep him at the Club until the summer of 2011.
The 18-year-old striker, a product of the Club's Academy, has agreed to a new three year deal and will put pen to paper early next week.
Jordan made eight appearances for the first-team last season, scoring his first goal for the Club in the 1-1 draw against Cardiff.
His goal tally was close to 50 last season, with the Oldham born frontman finishing as top scorer in the reserves with more than 30 goals.
"Jordan made great progress last season and became an important member of the first-team squad," Town boss Jim Magilton told the Club website.
"The new contract is good news for him and he fully deserves it."
