Billy Clarke scored for the Republic of Ireland U21s in their defeat by Nigeria over the weekend in the Malaysia Cup.

The Town striker, winning his ninth cap, hit a consolation goal for the Irish as they went down 3-1.

The Republic, who beat Malaysia 3-1 in their opening game, face Iraq on Tuesday.

Also on international duty are Owen Garvan and Alex Bruce. The duo are with the Republic's senior squad in a training camp in Portugal ahead of friendlies against Serbia and Colombia.
