Town will play Premier League West Ham and West Brom at Portman Road as part of the build up to next season.

Newly promoted Albion, managed by former Blue Tony Mowbray, take on Town on Saturday, July 26 with a 3pm kick-off likely but not confirmed. 

The Hammers visit on Monday August 4, with kick-off at 7.45pm. The game is likely to see a return to the Club for Mark Noble, who spent three months on loan at Portman Road in the 2006/07 season.

Blues have scheduled in several other friendlies in addition to the Premier League opposition with a Town X1 taking on Bury Town at Ram Meadow on 9th July, 7.45pm start.

Town then face Brentford at Griffin Park on July 11, with a 7.30pm kick-off; Gillingham at Priestfield on July 23, kick-off 7.45pm; Tiptree on July 24 at 7.45pm.

Blues then visit Brighton on July 29, kick-off at 7.45pm, before taking on Braintree a day later, kick-off 7.45pm.

Town finish off the pre-season schedule with a team travelling to Sudbury on August 5, with a 7.45pm start.

The Championship season kicks-off on Saturday, August 9. Blues are also planning a tour of Northern Ireland in July with games yet to be confirmed.
