NO DEAL FOR SITO
Town boss Jim Magilton has told the Club website that he will not be offering a new contract to Sito.
The 27-year-old Spanish defender's current deal ends next month and he is now free to look for a new club.
Sito joined Town from Racing Ferrol in the summer of 2005 after impressing while on trial and went on to make 63 appearances for the Club, scoring one goal - in the 2-1 win at Scunthorpe in March.
He was in and out of the team last term, making 14 appearances but Jim has decided not to extend the full-back's stay at Portman Road.
"We have told Sito that we will not be offering him a new deal," says Jim.
"He is a fantastic lad and I'd like to thank him for his contribution to this football club and we wish him every success in the future. We will do everything we can to help find him a new club."
Jim also confirmed that Sylvain Legwinski and Fabian Wilnis will not be offered new deals.
The two were given a guard of honour by their team-mates, along with Jason De Vos, who has retired from the game, after Town's last match of the season, the 1-0 win over Hull.
Sylvain was voted Supporters' Player of the Year in 2006/07 but made only nine starts for Town last season while Fabian will be 38 when next term kicks off. He made 325 appearances for Blues in his nine years at Portman Road.
"Along with Jason, Fab and Sylvain have been great players for this Club and they will be missed around the dressing-room," adds Jim.
Jason has returned home to Canada to begin a media career with national TV broadcaster CBC.
