FINGER OF FATE
Shane Supple will see a specialist next week over a finger injury that has left him missing out on an international call-up.
The Town 'keeper, currently on loan at Falkirk, was in Republic of Ireland U21 boss Don Givens' thoughts for their tournament in Malaysia over the next two weeks.
But Falkirk still have two Scottish Premier League games left to play which would rule him out of much of the tournament and he is also nursing a finger injury.
"I have spoken to Shane and he has a finger injury and will see a specialist on Monday in Edinburgh," Town physio Matt Byard told the Club website.
"The joint has been sore for a week or two but it has not stopped Shane training or playing.
"We will know more about the problem next week after the surgeon has seen Shane. It could well be that the finger just needs time to heal at the end of the season."
Billy Clarke is included in the Irish U21 squad which takes on Iran on May 15, Malaysia two days later and Nigeria on May 19.
