Richard Naylor has seen a specialist over his neck injury and looks likely to be out for the rest of the season.

The long serving defender sustained a slipped disc in his neck in the autumn and spent two months on the sidelines after recovering from foot surgery.

He started his first game for a year in the 1-0 win at Crystal Palace in February and impressed over the next month before suffering a recurrence of the neck problem in the defeat at Barnsley.

"Bam Bam has seen a specialist and we are waiting for the results," Jim told the Club website.

"It looks like he may need an operation and if that is the situation then we won't see him playing again until pre-season."
