DATABASE MARKETING MANAGER

Ipswich Town Football Club is looking for someone to drive and deliver profitable revenues in the areas of retail, ticket sales, corporate and conferencing sales through the smarter use of existing and future databases.

Responsibilities include:

§ Data collection and compliance
§ Customer insight analysis, helping to improve our understanding of customers
§ Development of specific data-driven marketing strategies to increase profitable sales.
§ Close liaison with Marketing Manager to execute targeted campaigns.
§ Measurement of campaign effectiveness and ROI.
§ Use of external data sources to add value to the ITFC database, for internal and external partners
§ Sourcing new opportunities for the development of revenue streams from the Club's database.

The person we are looking for will be:

§ IT literate with a clear understanding as to how data can be used to develop more profitable business.
§ Have minimum 3 years direct marketing or database analysis/planning experience
§ Come from a DM agency or retail, media or entertainment background
§ Be able to show previous success in using data to increase sales or company performance.
§ Be a team player, able to work with department heads across a range of business sectors
§ Be cable of working from data planning through to campaign execution.
§ Be confident in working to clear targets and deadlines

Salary range: £25000 to £30000

HEALTHY LIVING CO-ORDINATOR

Ipswich Town's Community Trust requires a Healthy Living Co-ordinator to lead an exciting and innovative new programme, "Activ8 IT PLUS", which seeks to raise students' awareness of what it means to lead a healthy lifestyle with a particular focus on the issue of obesity.

Activ8 IT PLUS will use the power of the ITFC brand to help raise the profile of the healthy living agenda within schools across Suffolk to students at Key Stage 2, 3 and 4.

Candidates will not only need to demonstrate an interest in and ability to deliver material relating to healthy lifestyles to schoolchildren but will also need to have the skills to coordinate all aspects of the project from liaising with schools, selecting students, engaging the families, planning activities and formally assessing and reporting back on the project's successes.

In addition to a Level 1 sports coaching qualification, candidates should have core skills and/or an understanding of specialist delivery in literacy, numeracy, ICT, healthy lifestyles and multi-sports coaching. Candidates should also have significant experience of working with children either in mainstream schools or within a non-school setting.

The successful candidate will become part of a supportive team skilled in the delivery of football coaching and academic skills programmes aimed at school, families and individuals.

TICKET OFFICE SATURDAY STAFF

We are looking to recruit somebody to work within the Ticket Office on Saturdays and Match-days. The candidate would be required to work 9am-noon on non-match Saturdays, from 9am-kick off on Match-day Saturdays and by arrangement for evening matches.

Matchday Stewards

To assist and direct spectators and to implement ground regulations at all our home games and other major events and to assist with security duties. Apply by telephone to 01473-400943

Retail Matchday Stewards

To manage customer volume at the Portman Road Superstore by assisting customers, managing queues and offering friendly customer service while providing a firm security presence. Suited to a person with retail and/or security based background. Apply by telephone to 01473 400943

TURNSTILE OPERATORS

We would like to recruit turnstile operators for all our home games and other major events held at the stadium. The role includes checking and issuing tickets plus some cash handling. If you have previous cash handling experience and good communication skills, please phone 01473 400943 for an application form.

CONFERENCE AND HOSPITALITY RECRUITMENT AT ITFC

We recruit on a seasonal basis and have filled all our positions for the 2007/08 season, including staffing for our conferencing and events business. We occasionally recruit on an ad hoc basis throughout the season and are always happy to receive completed Club Application forms (CVs may be attached to these but will not be considered on their own).
